Overall objective of the job
Responsible for the planning and execution of statistical activities in support of clinical studies. This role requires technical and scientific knowledge combined with a capability of clinical data analysis methodology
Main Accountabilities
- Team work with internal and external partners for clinical data management
- Excellent data analysis, scientific and critical thinking skills, as well as an eye for detail
- Analyze clinical data and provide the analysis report
- Writing methods and generate descriptive statistics/tables/listings/figures for study reports and manuscripts.
- Work closely with internal/external team members to understand the background and progresses of the clinical studies.
- Provide data analysis support to other collaborator teams if necessary
- Master or above degree in Life Science areas, education in Biostatistics, Epidemiology is a big plus.
- Statistical expertise: Mathematical statistics, regression analysis, multivariate data analysis, statistical programming skill in SAS, R, SPSS…
- Should communicate effectively, collaborate efficiently with internal and external co-workers
- Ability to work in a matric environment
- Experience in biomarker discovery, cancer, microbiology or immunology research is a big plus
