【职位描述】
POSITION: Director
LOCATION: Shanghai, China
BUSINESS FUNCTION: REIS China
REPORTING TO: Head of Research, Shanghai, China
Jones Lang LaSalle, Inc. (NYSE: JLL), a global real estate services firm, is seeking a Director to join our team located in Shanghai, China.
REIS China offers timely, accurate, and insightful data and analysis on office, retail, and residential markets across China. Data includes major property indicators as well as forecasts and extensive reports on each market sector. We cover 30 cities in China with historical data going as far back as 2005 for most Tier 2 markets. REIS China has an extensive network of real estate professionals – 120 researchers across the Asia Pacific region, 40 dedicated researchers in 12 offices in mainland China. REIS service supports most of the major real estate investors, developers and equities analysts in the region.
Objectives:
? Effectively manage a team of 3-4 employees, a large and complex database, and report deliverables spanning three sectors and more than twenty cities.
? Serve as a client-facing conduit for JLL research, actively participating in pitches, presentations and projects. Manage existing REIS client relationships and develop new relationships through pitches and development of new, innovative data solutions.
? Author quarterly research reports and blogs; periodically contribute to themed white papers.
? Continually develop, enhance and leverage understanding of China’s national and city economies, demographics, and commercial real estate markets.
? Conduct fieldwork, including vacancy and tenant inspections of existing projects as well as assessment of future project completion dates by cultivating local contacts and conducting interviews.
Experience and qualifications:
? 5-10 years working experience in commercial real estate or related field.
? Demonstrated passion in real estate and markets overall with a strong desire and commitment to learning micro- and macro-level economic, demographic and market dynamics.
? Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, Tableau, ArcGIS, and other data visualization software.
? Ability to multitask and effectively manage time and workload between enhancing the overall data and research platform and pivoting to focus on new business development opportunities.
? Ability to work independently as well as collaborate across a large, multi-departmental team.
? Fluent English, including extensive familiarity with business English and excellent written and verbal skill.
