Budweiser Brewing Company APAC is currently looking to hire a Compliance Assistant Manager/Manager for Budweiser China on the L&CA team (Legal and Corporate Affairs) based in Shanghai. As Compliance Assistant Manager/Manager, you will report directly to China Compliance Associate Director for Budweiser China.
As the China Compliance Assistant Manager/Manager, you will be responsible to:
- Act with integrity through all words and actions
- Investigate broad and diverse allegations
- Perform third party compliance reviews
- Utilize data analysis tools and provide data driven insights to support work
- Perform compliance risk assessment and trend analysis
- Provide legal advice on China compliance matters
- Work cross functionally with functions outside of the L&CA team
- Develop and refresh policies and training
- Take on special projects as needed
The ideal China Compliance Assistant Manager/Manager will have:
- Qualified lawyer with a minimum of 3 years of experience in Compliance / Investigations at a Law Firm or at a multinational company
- Language Skills: Chinese (Native) & English (Fluent)
- Absolute integrity and irreproachable ethics
- High interpersonal and communication skills
- Approachable character and ability to work within teams from many functions
- Strong organization skills and very proactive
- Strong analytical skills combined with high capability to conceptualize
- Ability to work autonomously, in a result-orientated and effective problem-solving way
- Organized and focused, with rigorous approach, mindful of deadlines
- Desire to always improve
- Availability to travel extensively
Further skills that would be helpful:
- Experience at a company with major, consumer-facing brands is helpful
- Experience in beverage/brewing or another highly regulated industry would be a plus
