Description

Proactively manage Companies exposure and risk prior to contract signing by ensuring Contractual Terms and Conditions promote the companies’ interest and help limit exposure to potentially adverse outcomes.

Work with the global legal and supply chain team to give trainings to internal procurement team to improve risks awareness and promote the usage of the oracle system for procurement contract management and execution.

Responsibilities

1.Review and advise various procurement contracts submitted to company oracle system or offline.   (40%)   

2.Closely liaise and interact with supply chain team and support the negotiations and finalization of contracts.(20%)

3.Work with global legal team on the localization of standard contracts/formats. (10%)    

4.Provide legal support to the potential commercial disputes with suppliers, including advising on settlement or risks mitigation plans.（10%） 

5.Work on the conflict of mineral related tasks, handle the translations, enquiries and trainings. (10%)

6.Give periodical contract training to supply chain team. (10%)     

Requirements

Must:

1.Passed P.R.C Bar Exam. 

2.Bachelor degree (or above) in law with good understanding of PRC laws and analytical skills; 

3.Good command of written and spoken Mandarin and English.

4.More than 3 years of relevant experience in review and negotiation of contractual terms and conditions

5.Proficient in Microsoft Office software, particularly good skills in Microsoft Word. 

6.Self-motivated and able to work independently under high pressure and with minimum supervision.

7.Strong Communication and Influencing skills, high team work spirit.

8.Solid risk assessment skill.

9.High Ethical Standards. 

Preferred:

1.5 years working experience in advising contracts and legal issues in law firms or MNCs, preferably in manufacturing industries.

2.Working experiences in managing matters in Asia Pacific countries other than China.

3.Law degree in a common law jurisdiction in addition to the PRC law degree.
