This role will lead the implementation of strategies, loss prevention programs and investigative efforts to identify Bad Actors on our platform. These efforts are connected to specific metrics that aim to reduce Third-Party Seller shrink/debt and drive profitability. This role will be responsible for developing the investigative strategy leveraging field resources and internal/external stakeholder partnerships to pursue and resolve cases.

Core responsibilities 

· Develop an understanding of Amazon eCommerce business in regards to Third Party Sellers from China that offer their product in markets like US, Europe and Japan. 

· Support development and implementation of a company-wide loss prevention investigative program related to Seller Risk. 

· Identify and create internal reporting, data analysis and Seller Risk assessment. 

· Develop and pursue investigative strategy detailing facilitation of case resolution at the appropriate scope and pace. 

· Develop and implement models/strategies to mitigate Third Party Seller Fraud while minimizing customer and operational impacts 

· Develop and maintain positive field-based relationships with Law Enforcement at local and provincial levels in China. 

· Build and foster relationships with internal and external business partners 

· Serve as the investigative subject matter expert for Seller investigations 

· Manage multiple investigations simultaneously and prioritize resources accordingly 

· Identify and develop appropriate reporting methods and mechanisms to maximize efficiencies and best practices across the enterprise 

· Lead and mentor team members as needed

Basic Qualifications

· College or equivalent diploma or other equivalent professional experience

· At least 5 years of investigative experience identifying, resolving cases, conducting root cause analysis, and recommending mitigation plans

· Experience in public security/military intelligence analysis is a plus, cyber fraud, asset protection, audit, risk management, or other related fields.

· Experience with transactional eCommerce platform processes (cross – border)

· Experience in Loss Prevention, Cyber Security or Commercial Fraud Investigation

· Experience with investigative case file building and law enforcement presentations

· Good with MS Office Professional Suite.
